Girl, 7, reported missing from Gurnee

GURNEE, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Police are asking for the public's help finding a 7-year-old who is missing from north suburban Gurnee.

Amayrani Brambila was last seen with her mother Siomara Alvarado, who also goes by the last name Gutierrez, leaving in a taxi on Sunday evening, according to a statement from Gurnee police.

Amayrani, who goes by Annie, is described as a 4-foot, 65-pound Hispanic female with long brown hair and brown eyes. She was possibly wearing a pink shirt, white shirt with pink print, and pink flowered flip-flops.

Anyone with information is asked to call Gurnee police at (847) 599-7000.
