CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - FOX 32 News has teamed up with no-kill shelter PAWS Chicago to bring you an adoptable pet each week. This week, we're featuring a 1-year-old Terrier mix named June!

June can't wait to win over your heart! Volunteers at PAWS Chicago describe her as one of the most unique looking dogs they have seen and that her looks are really part of June’s charm.

She is a playful girl who loves to be active and would make an excellent exercise partner this summer! Her favorite activities are playing with tennis balls and going for walks around the block. June will never turn down a good belly rub and does well with other dogs.

She can be a little shy and would do best in an adults only home, or one with children ages 10 and above. She hopes to find her new home soon so she can enjoy the lovely summer with her new family.

You can meet Adelaide and the other animals in need of forever homes at the PAWS Chicago Adoption & Humane Center in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
