CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The Great Bull Run is coming to Hawthorne Race Course in the Chicago area on Saturday.

"Grab life by the horns and experience the rush of a lifetime as you dodge eighteen 1,500-pound bulls as they run a quarter-mile course," according to The Great Bull Run's website.

To kick off the run taking place in Cicero at 11 AM, FOX 32’s Jake Hamilton decided to test out his skills by running with the bulls himself – though it didn’t quite go according to plan.

Check out the footage of the run gone awry, and laugh as Jake and Co-Founder of The Great Bull Run Ron Dickens look back at what exactly went wrong -- and what you can do in case that happens to you.

For more information on the run, visit The Great Bull Run's website.

It's been months since the last snowflake fell, but Chicago residents are still hitting potholes that make your teeth chatter. Which is why one Southside resident was puzzled when construction crews began repaving a road that virtually no one uses.
