Three woman are at North Memorial Hospital after a triple shooting in Minneapolis early Wednesday morning.

Investigators said the shooting was not random, but the three women were left with non-life threatening injuries. Minneapolis police said shots were fired around 1:30 a.m. at the 3500-block of Fremont Avenue North. Upon arrival, police found three women with gunshot wounds and spent several hours searching the crime scene with police dogs to track down a suspect. No arrests have been made.

On Tuesday afternoon, Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges joined Minneapolis Police Chief Janee Harteau and other community leaders on a walk through north Minneapolis in response to a violent Fourth of July weekend in the area.
