Authorities say one man died and two others were injured in an early morning shooting inside a home in suburban Philadelphia.

Police officials in Bucks County said the shooting was reported at about 12:45 a.m. Tuesday in a home in Bristol Township.

The injured men were rushed to Aria Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia, one with a gunshot wound to the head and the other with a shot to the back.

Friends and family members identified the second victim as Josh Johnson, a man shot previously five or six years ago in Philadelphia. That shooting left him with a paralyzing injury. Josh was injured from the waist down and uses a wheel chair.

Josh’s caretaker Kendra Johnson says she discovered her patient was injured when she arrived at the hospital. She spoke with FOX 29 moments after doctors told her Josh is now brain dead.

She tells us Josh moved to Bristol to get a fresh start his trouble life.

“He moved up to Bristol after he got out of the hospital in the wheel chair to get away from the drama and stuff like that and I know somebody got it out for him,” Johnson said.

Police tell us a man in his 30's was found dead inside the home. Josh and the third victim (wounded in his back) are listed in critical condition at an area hospital.

Moving out the city does not guarantee getting away from violence; Johnson tells us Josh was armed at his house for protection.

Police said no weapon was found and no arrests were immediately made.

Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler is on his way to the scene to give us an official update.
