CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

World Cup soccer fans are expected to pack Soldier Field for the US vs. Belgium viewing party.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 3 p.m. and the gates open at 1:30 p.m. The event is free to get in and there will be food, soft drinks, beer and souvenirs for sale.

According to a new report, all those fans are in the right place. The New Republic says Chicago has become the soccer capital of America.

The report goes on to say that Chicago is also the 'most soccer drunk city' and the thousands of fans who crammed into Grant Park last week proved it.
