CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

UPDATE: 6:38 P.M.: Funnel clouds were reported across the Northern Suburbs with 50-60 mph winds reported across the far western suburbs.

Severe thunderstorm warning continues until 7:15 p.m. tonight for Cook, DuPage, Kane, Northern Will, and Northern Kendall

Potentially severe thunderstorms bringing hail and damaging winds could move into the Chicago area Monday evening.

Severe storms are expected between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. Monday night. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for part of the Chicago area until 9 p.m. A Tornado Watch is in place for the Western suburbs until 7 p.m.
