Man charged with damaging squad car during Pride celebration

A man is facing a felony charge after he allegedly damaged a marked squad car during Sunday’s Pride Parade on the North Side.

Dionte D. Rice, 19, is charged with one felony count of criminal damage to property, according to Chicago Police.

Rice allegedly damaged a marked squad car during the Pride Parade, according to a police source.

Police said Rice is the only felony arrest resulting from the annual celebration.

Rice, of the 11600 block of South Church Street, is scheduled to appear in bond court Monday.
