Thankfully the 9 year old girl who made the call did not witness the shooting. State Police are now handling the investigation into what happened on Lola Drive. Police say the man was pointing the gun at his wife's head when they arrived, then he pointed it at officers. Neighbors tell Fox 2 they're not surprised. They say the man involved has a history of violent behavior. The couple was in the midst of a divorce. The woman involved and the 9 year old girl were not injured. This incident is the first officer involved shooting this year; it's the seventh in department history.
