Reward offered for information on armed robbery in Dolton

DOLTON, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Police are searching for two men who robbed a south suburban gas station last month.

The men--one armed with a butcher knife--walked into the Clark station at at 736 E. 142nd Street in Dolton about 8:15 a.m. on May 20, according to a statement from Cook County Crime Stoppers.

The men made off with an unspecified amount of money before running off, and the clerk suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the robbery, according to Crime Stoppers.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest, the group said.
