MTV’s 'The Real World' may be coming back to Chicago, according to a report.
If approved by the city, the reality show would occur in the West Loop at 1100 W. Randolph Street.
The company that produces the show is scheduled to meet next Friday with the Zoning Board of Appeals to request the necessary permits that would allow them to shoot.
In March, producers were in the city doing casting calls for the 30th season of the show.
‘The Real World’ was previously based in Chicago in 2001 for the 11th season.
MTV told the Chicago Tribune that it’s “still in the process of scouting cities for the next season of 'The Real World' and no decision has been made yet.”
