Whole raw Flank Steak
8oz bottles of good French Dressing
Bay Leaves
2oz. coarse black peppercorn
2oz. Minced raw garlic
1 jar beef bouillon (for the "Au Jus")


Totally coat and submerge the whole raw flank steak in a pan of French dressing. Top with
bay leaves, pepper, and garlic. Allow to marinate 2 days in refrigerator
Broil on a hot barbeque grill to 130 degrees with grill marks; about 5-7 minutes per side.
Allow to rest with heat off for 10 minutes at 135
Place on cutting board and slice against the grain on a bias about ¼ inch thick strips. Layer on
the plate. Add a touch of "Au Jus" on top Layer on plate to show dark surface and red center.
