CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A northwest suburban man has been charged after police found more than $60,000 worth of drug paraphernalia at his West Side retail store Monday afternoon.

Hoffman Estates resident Bruce Kim, 44, faces two felony counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, police announced early Tuesday.

About 3 p.m., Harrison District officers were conducting a license check at Kim’s store in the 0-100 block of North Pulaski Road when they saw “narcotics equipment” displayed for sale and found numerous boxes of other paraphernalia including large amounts of small bags, scales, blenders, measuring spoons and sifters, according to a police statement.

Kim, of the 4500 block of Mumford Drive in Hoffman Estates, was working behind the counter of the store at the time and was arrested at the store. He is scheduled to appear in bond court Tuesday.
