CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The chase for cash in Chicago fueled by social media continued Tuesday morning.

The movement started with one very generous, but unidentified person, hiding envelopes around the city. The scavenger hunt for the cash makes for a unique game of hide and seek.

The hidden cash Twitter craze started in San Francisco, but it's spreading to other parts of the country. Chicago now has its own hidden cash Twitter account.

That account tweeted clues Monday and Tuesday. Monday an envelope with $60 cash was found in Humboldt Park. The person who found that cash told FOX 32's Jake Hamilton she planned on going to Starbucks to pay it forward.

Tuesday an undisclosed amount of cash was found in the Old Town area. Andrew DeVries, the man who found the envelope, said the city needs the cash more than he does. He says he plans on using the money to help the city of Chicago. He says to follow him on Twitter for clues as to where he will hide the cash.

De Vries said he was on his morning run Tuesday when he received the alert to where the cash was.
