CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - A recent study reports the pros and cons of living in the city of Chicago.

PricewaterhouseCoopers has released its cities of opportunity study. The study analyzes cities around the world on various factors such as tech savviness, sustainability, health and safety and livability.

The Chicago Business Journal did a break down of the report and says the city excelled in several areas. Chicago was ranked in the top ten- number six overall - for health and safety.

Chicago also had a top ten finish in intellectual capital and innovation, as well as technology readiness. Additionally, Chicago surprisingly ranked second in affordability, behind Los Angeles.

However, the city scored low for economics, transportation, infrastructure and tourism. Overall, however, Chicago dropped one place in the rankings since the last study and wound up in 10th place, just behind Sydney, Australia.
