CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Police have located a Northside College Preparatory High School student who did not return to her Irving Park neighborhood home from work Wednesday night on the Northwest Side.

Miranda Roberts, 18, was last seen leaving her home in the 3000 block of West Cullom Avenue to go to work at the Jewel-Osco near Cullom and Lincoln avenues, according to a high-risk missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Roberts, a senior at Northside College Prep, did not return home from work, police said.

About 7 a.m. Wednesday, Roberts texted her family and said she was in the Humboldt Park area, but was not sure of her exact whereabouts, police said.

Roberts was found safe in west suburban Forest Park, police said Friday at 5 a.m. More details were not available.
