CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - President Obama is scheduled to visit Chicago Thursday afternoon for two DSCC events.

The President will be attending fundraisers Thursday night for Illinois senator Dick Durbin and the senate campaign committee. The first event begins at 5 p.m. and the second begins at 6:30 p.m. Obama's flight will arrive at O'Hare International Airport.

Obama will spend the night in Chicago at his home in the Kenwood neighborhood and return to Washington on Friday. Residents who live the Kenwood area have been informed by the secret service that he will be there.

The last time President Obama saw his Kenwood home was in May 2013, when he was in town raising funds for congressional democrats.
