'Frozen' On Ice coming to Chicago

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The Disney animated hit film "Frozen" will be brought to life on ice, and the show is coming to Chicago!

Disney announced plans to turn "Frozen" into an ice skating spectacular that closely follows the storyline of the movie.

The show will feature 20 snow machines and a cast of 40 ice skaters who will begin touring the country on September 5.

According to the New York Daily News, the skating show will feature the movie's hit songs "Let It Go" and "Do You Want to Build a Snowman." Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will also guide audiences through the tale.

The show will be coming the Allstate Arena and the United Center. Tickets for the show are on sale now. Visit the Disney On Ice website for showtimes and to purchase tickets.
