Red Line trains moving after earlier mechanical issue

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

The CTA said that Howard-bound Red Line trains were moving again after an earlier mechanical problem at 69th Street Monday morning.

The problem was reported at 7:11 a.m., and service was restored about ten minutes later, the CTA said.

Trains are now moving but operating with residual delays. Commuters should allow extra travel time, the CTA said.
