Show at Adler Planetarium takes visitors to future and beyond

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - There is no place on Earth like Chicago. But if you’re looking to leave this planet for another, Chicago is still the only place to do it.

It’s called “Destination Solar System,” a world exclusive show at the Adler Planetarium – and you might want to hold on.

Mark Webb, the director of theaters at the Adler Planetarium, is not only proud of the live show - which takes viewers to the year 2096 through millions of miles of endless space – but is also proud that Chicago is the only place on the planet to see it.

Mixing a live performer with a dome screen that covers the entire theater, the show is a testament to leaps in innovation – proving that while it may be harder to impress kids these days, Chicago is up for the challenge.

Chicago continues to stand as a world leader in everything from culinary creations to tourism innovations.

And now we’re a leader in this world and beyond.
