LOS ANGELES (WJBK) -- It's down to two on 'American Idol.'

Millions of eyes nationwide, along with over 7,000 fans inside the Nokia Theatre, will watch Farmington Hills native Jena Irene and North Carolina's Caleb Johnson compete in the FOX singing competition.

Plenty of surprises are said to be in store during the two-hour finale that begins at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday. Jena is scheduled to perform with Paramore, while Caleb is set to rock with KISS. Idol judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. are also scheduled to take the stage.

During Part One of the finale Tuesday night, Jena performed Florence and The Machines' 'The Dog Days are Over' and her single 'We Are One.' She also reprised her season staple 'Can't Help Falling in Love' by Elvis Presley.

Caleb performed Aerosmith's 'Dream On' and his single 'As Long As You Love Me.' He reprised his season staple 'Maybe I'm Amazed' by Paul McCartney.

Both finalists' singles are now available on iTunes.

FOX 2's Lee Thomas is in Los Angeles and will have live reports throughout the hours leading up to the finale.
