Minnesota woman kicked out of McCormick Place for breaking rules

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A woman from Minnesota was allegedly asked to leave the National Restaurant Association trade show for simply being with her child.

The National Restaurant Association held their trade show Saturday at McCormick Place. Kristin Osborne from Minnesota claims security guards asked her to leave because her infant child was not allowed in the venue.

The trade show has rules that ban all kids under 16 from attending the show for safety reasons.

Osborne said she knew about the ban, but didn’t think it would apply to her 10-day-old infant who requires breastfeeding. She had left her other children, 2 and 4 years old, at home because of the ban.

Osborne was attending the trade show to promote her family’s winery.
