DOLTON, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) - Two brothers were ordered held on $200,000 bonds Wednesday after authorities found drugs and guns at their south suburban home, according to police.

Deputies searched the home in the 14300 block of Irving Avenue in Dolton about 11:15 a.m. Monday, and found the firearms, the Cook County Sheriff’s office said in a statement.

The weapons included a Tanfoglio .45 caliber handgun, Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun, Zastava AK-47 rifle and Thompson .45 caliber rifle, the sheriff’s office said.

Authorities also recovered 130 rounds of ammunition, 600 grams of cannabis, four suspected hydrocodone pills, a suspected ecstasy pill and a digital scale, police said.

Brothers Davon Ketchum, 23; and Curtis Ketchum, 24, were both charged with armed violence, possession of cannabis with intent to distribute, and possession of cannabis, police said.

Davon Ketchum was also charged with two additional counts of possession of a controlled substance, while Curtis Ketchum was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Both men lived in the home, and a third person in the house at the time was released.

The brothers will next appear in court June 2 in Markham, police said.
