WARNING: Video is disturbing.

Dominique Blade says she has worked at the group home for about two months. She says the employee used an extension cord and the metal handle of a mop to beat the victim.

Blade says she asked the employee why she was doing that. She says the employee told her it was the best way to control the victim.

FOX 2 contacted the owner of Strathmoor Manor, Bartholomew Ajulufoh. He told FOX 2's Ron Savage he is aware of the issue and the employee in question has been fired, and the victim was treated by doctors and returned to the home.

The victim is said to have sustained a swollen hand and several cuts and bruises on her back from the beating.

Ajulufoh is licensed by the state to care for developmentally disabled and mentally ill residents.

The Dept. of Human Services Bureau of Children and Adult Licensing has launched an investigation into the beating.
