ATM thieves steal more than $14 thousand in College Park

Posted: Updated:
COLLEGE PARK, Ga. - Police are on the hunt for two men posing as ATM repair specialists.

Instead of fixing the machines, they steal from them.

According to College Park Police, the dishonest duo walked into the Renaissance hotel near the airport and told employees they were there to fix the hotel's ATM. The workers didn't think anything of it, and the thieves made off with more than $14 thousand.

Police tell FOX 5 that the men also tried to rip off the Marriott Gateway but couldn't get into the ATM machine.

Police believe these guys could hit anywhere, so if you have any information on who they are contact the College Park Police Department.
