Teen missing from Chicago Lawn neighborhood

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - Police are searching for a 17-year-old boy who went missing last week from his Chicago Lawn neighborhood home on the Southwest Side.

Christopher Wright was reported missing from the 7100 block of South Artesian Avenue, according to a missing person alert from Area Central detectives.

Wright, who was last seen Friday, is described as a 5-foot-8, 150-pound black boy with black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion, police said. He was last seen wearing a royal blue “bubble” jacket, black sweatpants and tan Timberland boots. He may also be carrying a black-and-white backpack.

He frequents the intersections of West 80th and South Honore street and West 71st Street and South Winchester Avenue, police said.
