John Hancock's Tilt opens to the public

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - Times have changed. These days, looking out the window just isn't enough anymore.

People apparently want to fear death, to tremble at the possibility of falling, to seriously consider whether or not they even want to look.

For years, the Sky Box at Willis Tower gave us that option.

But now, there is another.

Welcome to Tilt-  It lies 1,000 feet above the ground, on the 94th floor of the John Hancock Center.

Supporting eight people at a time, a window wall tilts out an intimidating 30 degrees over downtown Chicago.

But when it comes to comparisons, between the Sky Box and Tilt, Nicole Williamson, the general manager of 360 Chicago says it is not a competition.

As for those who aren't fans of hanging that far above the ground, Williamson promises you have nothing to worry about.
