    Hometown favorite Jena Irene has advanced to the finale of 'American Idol.'

It's down to three on 'American Idol.'

America said goodbye to Jessica Meuse Thursday night, leaving Caleb Johnson, Alex Preston and Farmington Hills native Jena Irene to battle for the title on the FOX singing competition.

All three will head back to their hometowns over the next few days to celebrate before 'Idol' airs Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Events scheduled to welcome Jena back home on Saturday, May 10 are as follows:

 - 10:30-11 a.m. - Visit to Hercules Coney Island in Farmington Hills
 - 2:30-3:15 p.m. - Parade along 13 Mile Road between Orchard Lake and Farmington roads
 - 3:30 p.m. - Free concert at football stadium at North Farmington High School

Jena will also perform live on FOX 2 News Weekend during the 9 a.m. hour on Saturday. We will have more on her hometown visit later that day on FOX 2 News at 6 and 10 p.m.

Jena posted a photo to her Instagram account Friday afternoon of her, Caleb and Alex standing in front of a plane. She captioned the photo: 'And so it begins :) love these boys! #top3 #letsgohome'.
