Two teens among three shot in East Garfield Park

Three people—including two teenage boys—were shot Wednesday afternoon in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The shooting happened a few minutes after 3 p.m. in the 2800 block of West Flournoy Street, police News Affairs Officer Stacey Cooper said.

A 14-year-old boy was shot in his left knee, and a 17-year-old boy was shot in his left leg, Cooper said.

A 26-year-old man was also wounded in the shooting, but it was not immediately clear where on his body he was shot.

All were taken in good condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.

Details on the circumstances of the shooting were not immediately available.

No one is in custody as Area North detectives investigate.
