CPD to honor fallen officers Monday

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - The Chicago Police Department plans to honor officers who have died in the line of duty.

Chicago Police officials will hold a special ceremony at the Gold Star Families Memorial Monday at 3 p.m. Throughout the day, anyone can walk up to the memorial and place a wreath or flowers to remember a fallen officer. The Honor Guard will assist anyone who wishes to bring flowers.

Officers say people can visit the memorial until 12 a.m. Tuesday.
