BRIDGEVIEW (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Four people have been charged with beating and robbing an Oak Lawn man last week near southwest suburban Palos Park.

On April 6, the 19-year-old man met a woman and was led inside a garage in the 12900 block of South 83rd Court, where at least three men beat him with a metal object, kicked him and stole cash from him, according to a statement from the Cook County Sheriff's office.

The man was able to get away and get to a hospital, where police were called, the sheriff's office said. A metal stick was found in the garage.

Two men from Worth, Julian Lopez, 23, and Alex Ryan, 22; as well as Manuel Juarez, 24, of Burbank; and Nicoletta Tzinares, 18, of Palos Park, were all charged with robbery and aggravated battery, police said.

At a bond hearing at the Bridgeview courthouse Wednesday, Lopez was ordered held on $250,000 bond, Ryan's bond was set at $300,000 and Juarez, who is also being held on a previous, drug related case, was ordered held without bond, police said. Tzinares was ordered held on $100,000 bond and released Wednesday after posting bail.

Ryan is next scheduled to appear in court April 14, while Lopez, Tzinares and Juarez are all scheduled for May 5, according to the sheriff's office.
