Families with autistic kids file lawsuit against Disney

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Families with autistic children filed a lawsuit against the Walt Disney Company.

The lawsuit charges say Disney does not provide adequate access to theme park visitors with autism.

The families say children with autism often have a hard time waiting in long lines. They say the park's decision to end a program allowing families with autistic and handicapped children to bypass lines was a bad idea.

Disney ended the special treatment program after visitors were caught hiring disabled people to help them skip to the front of lines.
