25-year-old man missing from Auburn Gresham

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A man who hadn't been taking his bipolar medication has been reported missing from his Auburn Gresham home.

Johnathon Stingley, 25, was last seen about 3 p.m. Wednesday at his home in the 8000 block of South Morgan Street, according to a missing person alert issued by Chicago Police on Friday morning.

Stingley deals with bipolar disorder but had not been taking his medication, the alert said.

He is described as a 5-foot-11, 200-pound black man with brown eyes, beard and mustache, police said.

Stingley frequents stores near 79th and Halsted, as well as the Game Stop store at Ford City Mall, according to the alert. He is carrying his ID and CTA Ventra card.
