CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -
A man who robbed a TCF Bank branch Sunday in Lakeview may have struck again Friday morning — this time, at a branch in Uptown.
A TCF Bank branch was robbed Friday morning at 4355 N. Sheridan Rd. about 9 a.m. The robber is believed to be the same man who robbed a TCF Bank branch at 3531 N. Broadway on Sunday, FBI spokeswoman Joan Hyde said.
The suspect in Sunday's robbery was described as a Hispanic man in his late 20s to early 30s, between 5-foot-9 and 6 feet with brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a grey hooded jacket and had facial hair.
He wore a dark hooded sweatshirt in Friday's robbery, Hyde said.
