Firefighters battle blazes at two DeKalb apartments

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -

Firefighters in DeKalb County had a busy day battling blazes at two separate apartment complex on Saturday.

The first happened at the Heritage Reserve Apartments on Creste Drive. Fire crews responded just after 4 p.m. to find an apartment full involved. One unit was completely destroyed and two others were damaged.

Just before 6:30 p.m., firefighters were called out for a fire at a complex on Pine Cone Lane. The found a storage and utility building fully involved. They were able to get the fire under control quickly.

No injuries were reported in either fire. The causes for both are still under investigation.
