Can you live without your smart phone for a day? Or go without checking social media?

The nonprofit group Reboot is challenging people to do just that on the National Day of Unplugging.

They're asking everyone to take a break from technology for 24 hours and spend a little more quality time with your family and friends.

The motion beings Friday, March 7 at sundown and ends March 8 at sundown. It takes place on the first Friday of every March and this year marks the five year anniversary of the project.

If you would like to sign the pledge and unplug for the day, you can do so on their website: nationaldayofunplugging.com
