Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest for the murder of Roderick Bridges.

The 32-year-old was killed by a hit-and-run driver on November 2, 2013 on Detroit's east side.

Bridges and other relatives were at Jimmy's Lounge on Kercheval Street celebrating a niece's birthday. Roderick was leaving when someone started shooting. Everyone started running, he fell in the street and was run over.

Bridges leaves behind seven children, four boys and three girls ranging from the ages of 7 to 16 years old.

Roderick's family remembers him as a peacekeeper. He was once shot in the leg breaking up a fight. The bullet didn't kill him, but running from one did.

Anyone who has information regarding the crime should call Crime Stoppers of Michigan at 1-800-SPEAK-UP (1-800-773-2587). All calls are received anonymously and all cash rewards are given anonymously.
