ZION, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Bond was set at $250,000 for a north suburban Zion man facing a laundry list of gun and drug charges after he tried to run from a SWAT team executing a search warrant at his house Friday morning.

As Zion police Drug and Gang Unit and SWAT Team officers arrived to search his home in the 1800 block of Galilee Avenue, Quintin M. Harris threw a loaded AR-15 pistol into his neighbor's yard as he ran out his back door, according to a release from Zion police.

Harris, 28, was "immediately apprehended" in his back yard, according to the release.

During their search of the home, police found 75 grams of cocaine, a small amount of heroin, drug paraphernalia, three handguns and about $1,900 in cash, according to the release. The AR-15 was loaded with a 50-round magazine.

Harris was charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a school and a church, according to the release.

He was also charged with one felony count of armed violence, six felony counts of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and multiple other drug charges.

Harris was ordered held in lieu of $250,000 bond Saturday, according to the Lake County Sheriff's office.
