CTA bus windows damaged along West Side route

The windows of two CTA buses were damaged Thursday morning in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

Two No. 126 buses were eastbound on Jackson Boulevard near Kenton Avenue about 10:15 a.m. when "unidentified objects" were thrown at them, according to police and CTA spokeswoman Catherine Hosinski.

No one was injured, though the windows of both buses were damaged, Hosinki said.

Police are investigating the cause of the damage.
