Illinois considering ban on Google Glass while driving

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Illinois is considering a proposal that would ban drivers from using Google Glass while on the road.

Google Glass allows users to record video, access the Internet, and perform a number of other functions while on the go.

A number of police agencies say Google Glass could distract drivers and lead to accidents.

Google has hired lobbyists in at least two states to fight such proposals.
