Search underway for hit-and-run driver in Detroit

DETROIT, Mich. (WJBK) -
The search is on for a hit-and-run driver after a man is killed crossing a Detroit street. So far, there have been no arrests.

Fox 2's Randy Wimbley talked to the victim's family. Click on the video player to watch his live report.

Ernest Taylor was hit and killed Friday morning while crossing the street at the corner of Chalmers and Chelsea. He was leaving the Chalmers Community Hall. Police say he was found lying in the street with tire tracks on his body. His family is pleading with any witnesses to come forward. So far, none have. If you have any information on this unsolved crime, please call Detroit police.
