The decaying old Cook County hospital building could be coming back from the dead.
It's been abandoned for more than ten years.
But now Crain's Chicago Business says County Board President Toni Preckwinkle is floating a plan to redevelop the building on the West Side.
It would be a major project, and not cheap.
In the past, Preckwinkle has talked about moving county administrative offices into the building.
The county will look for a project manager this spring.
