ATLANTA -

An Atlanta group gave back Monday in honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless helped feed more than 10,000 people from across metro Atlanta in need as part of their annual Martin Luther King Holiday Dinner.

The goal of the dinner was to aid in the war on poverty while honoring those who gave their lives during the civil rights movement.

This year's event took place at the Georgia International Convention Center.

Some of the food people enjoyed included turkey, chicken, collard greens and black eyed peas.
