Chicago cabbie calendar raises money for lawsuit against city

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

From the driver's seat of a Chicago cab to the pages of a sexy calendar, a pin-up calendar is drumming up money to pay for a lawsuit against the city.

The calendar features real Chicago cab drivers, posing in everything from an evening gown to bikini briefs. Every dollar made will be used to fund the lawsuit, seeking to have cabbies declared city employees.

The calendar is the brain child of driver Melissa Callahan. She tells FOX 32 the inspiration for the pin-up was found in the Big Apple.

"I saw that New York came up with a beefcake calendar," she said. "I thought it was a great fundraising idea and we really need it right now with this lawsuit, so I thought we need to seize the moment and create our own beefcake calendar."

The city of Chicago has no comment on the lawsuit because it's still pending.

The calendars cost 15 bucks. If you want to buy one, visit the Chicago cabbie calendar website.
