CTA Blue Line trains moving again after switch problems

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Service has resumed at the Blue Line O'Hare stop after switch problems suspended trains for about an hour Thursday, the day after Christmas.

Trains were back in service around 7:55 a.m. after repair crews spent nearly an hour fixing switch problems on the track at the O'Hare station, according to the Chicago Transit Authority.

Shuttle buses were available during the halt to take riders between O'Hare and the Rosemont station, said CTA spokesman Brian Steele.

Trains are now back in service with residual delays, according to the CTA.
