Touching Video: Sister Shows Brother Love

Posted: Updated:

Archie, a young boy with Down Syndrome, finds a loving home in America. He was adopted from a woman in Bulgaria. Now, a touching message from his adoptive sister, Ace Eicher, is spreading like wildfire on the Internet.

The family said that after they heard this young boy's story, they couldn't help but do everything possible to bring him into their lives. His biological mom gave up her son after finding out he had Down Syndrome. The Eicher family documented the journey to give Archie a new home in their house.

The boy's sister, though, still doesn't fully understand why he's so different.

"The doctor said he had Down Syndrome," she tells the camera. "His mother said she can't keep him.... My mommy tried to explain it to me, but I don't still understand…But whatever, THIS IS MY BROTHER."

This video was posted back in March for World Down Syndrome Day. However, it's just started to really go viral in the last few weeks. It's gotten more than 450,000 hits on YouTube, and a lot of people are sharing this family's touching story on social media.

With more than 3,000 likes on the video, viewers were very touched by video and Ace's love for her brother. A user by the name of ayuwyn wrote, "awwwwwwwwwwwhhh~ I can't hold my tears anymoreee." ZanZification wrote, "ooooo they are both so adorable… ƒº"

Even kids were touched by the video. One YouTuber by the name of SkylanderMP wrote, "omigosh, i am a twelve-year old boy in 6th grade and i am tearing up just watching this."
