Remember all that controversy surrounding Melissa McCarthy's Elle Magazine cover?
People were complaining that the actress was covered up by big jacket, while other, thinner women show a lot of skin.
She was on Jay Leno to talk about what she dubbed "Jacket Gate"!
"We live here in LA, and I was like, I can't wait for fall, so sick of the hot weather… and then Jacket Gate started," she quipped on to Leno.
McCarthy says that the jacket was 100% her idea. She wanted the cover to look like a "walk of shame", with her hair all messed up and wearing that big coat.
McCarthy says that she finds the outrage pretty funny. The only thing she's upset about: is not keeping that $3,000 cashmere coat.
