NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

New York state troopers arrested a woman and charged her with DWI after she allegedly drove a car across the front lawn of a State Police barracks and ended up in its parking lot.

Authorities charged Katrina L. Kane, 28, of Pine Plains, N.Y., with DWI with a previous DWI conviction, which is a felony, police said.

Troopers said they responded to a 911 call on late Wednesday night of a car driving erratically on Route 44. They found the car and followed it when it drove off the road and flew across the lawn of Troop K's headquarters in Pleasant Valley.

Troopers made Kane take a field sobriety test, which they say she failed.

She was arraigned and remanded to Dutchess County Jail. A judge set bail at $15,000 cash.

Kane is due back in court October 21.

President Barack Obama is going on a fundraising sweep through New York and Rhode Island as he continues to help Democrats raise money for November's elections. Obama headlines three events on Friday. Two in Westchester County, and the third is in Newport, Rhode Island. The New York fundraisers will benefit the Democratic National Committee, which is still paying off debt from the 2012 campaign season.
