Hertz increases reward for info in murder of employee

ATLANTA -

A rental car company has increased the reward for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for killing one of their employees.

According to police, Monique Marlowe, 24, was shot and killed behind the Hertz Rent-a-Car facility on Satellite Boulevard near the Gwinnett County Transit Center on Sept. 21 while cleaning out one of the vehicles. She died at the hospital, but not before giving a brief description of the man.

Authorities have not identified any suspects in the murder.

Hertz has increased the reward to $50,000 for information in case. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 404-557-TIPS (8477).
