Chicago Police are looking for a 47-year-old man who went missing from his South Loop home last week and may need medical care.

Cranston Smith, who goes by the name Valentino, is missing from the 1400 block of South Canal Street, according to a community alert from Area Central detectives.

Smith may be depressed and could need medical care, according to the alert.

He is described as black with a medium complexion, 5-foot-8, 165 pounds, bald with a tattoo that reads "Valentino" on his upper back and a tattoo of a sun on the side of his neck.

Smith was last seen Wednesday near West 18th Street just south of South Canal Street wearing blue jeans and blue and white New Balance shoes.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to immediately contact detectives at (312) 747-8380.
